Mississauga man Nelson Tayongtong faces second degree murder charges

On Saturday September 8, 2012, at approximately 1:36 p.m., officers responded to a residence at 480 Lakeshore Road East in Mississauga for a call for assistance. Upon arrival officers located the deceased female with obvious signs of trauma.

The victim has been identified as 40 year-old Aicha Saludares of Mississauga.

On Wednesday September 19, 2012, information revealed to investigators, led them to the arrest of Nelson Tayongtong, a 39 year-old Mississauga resident.

He faces a charge of Second Degree Murder and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on Thursday, September 20, 2012 through a remand.
