Retired Bloordale teacher Gordon Harvey Walker charged with sexual assault

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest made in a historical sexual assault investigation.

It is alleged that:

- some time between September 1974 and June 1975, the accused, while working as a teacher at Bloordale Public School, at 10 Toledo Road, sexually assaulted a 12-year-old female student

- he has also taught at Norseman Junior and Middle School, at 105 Norsemen Street

On Thursday, September 20, 2012, Gordon Harvey Walker, 86, of Toronto, was charged with two counts of Indecent Assault Female.

The accused is scheduled to appear in court at 2201 Finch Avenue West on Friday, November 2, 2012, room 202, at 1 p.m.

Police believe there may be more victims.
