On Thursday, July 9, 2009, at 6:30 p.m., police located a woman’s body inside a parked vehicle in the Jane Street/Sheppard Avenue West area. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim was identified as Consuelo Valencia-Russo, 44, of Toronto.
On Thursday, May 6, 2010, Ana Laura Rodriguez, 20, and Juan Antonio Reyes, 24, were returned to Toronto from Mexico City by officers of the Toronto Police Service Homicide Squad.
Ana Laura Rodriguez, 20, of Mexico City, has been charged with:
1) First Degree Murder.
Juan Antonio Reyes, 24, of Mexico City, has been charged with:
1) First Degree Murder.
They were scheduled to appear in court at 1000 Finch Avenue West, Friday, May 7, 2010, room 306, at 10 a.m.
