The Integrated Security Unit, in partnership with the City of Toronto, has selected Queen’s Park North as the Designated Speech Area for the G20 Summit.

In response to a number of concerns from the Trinity-Bellwoods community and after carefully considering other options, this location was determined to be a more appropriate choice for the Designated Speech Area.

The designation at Trinity-Bellwoods was rescinded on May 6, 2010.

Designated Speech Areas are open forums created to give people a place to congregate safely and have access to media to share their message.

It is our hope that people will take advantage of this area and express themselves in a peaceful, lawful way.
