On Thursday, May 13, 2010, at 11 a.m., police responded to an unknown trouble call in the Eastdale Avenue/Lumsden Avenue area.

It is reported that:

– police located a woman’s body,

– she was pronounced dead at the scene.

A post-mortem examination was conducted on Saturday, May 15, 2010. As a result of the post-mortem, and investigation by members of 54 Division and the Homicide Squad, the death has been classified as a unexpected natural sudden death.

The woman has been identified as Claudette Pepin, 63, of Toronto.

Jean-Guy Pepin, 60, has been charged with:

1) three counts of Fail to Comply Probation.

He was scheduled to appear in court at College Park, on Friday, May 14, 2010, room 501, at 10 a.m.
