A courageous seven-year-old boy from Chilliwack, B.C., has now claimed to be a hero after making a very composite and adult 911 call about his grandfather’s illness, saving his life.

7-years-old Evan Raap and his grandfather were going to a bank on the morning of Oct. 27, when his grandfather stopped on the side of the road and suspiciously started shaking viciously and sweated. The little boy did not freak out, but in fact located his grandfather’s cell phone and dialed 911. He spoke to the operator about his grandfather’s condition very compositely and managed an elaborative 13-minutes conversation until the help arrived.

Evan initiated the call stating that “Um, my name is Evan and my grandpa lost his teeth and I don’t know what to do.” The audio recording of the 911 call narrates him saying that “he’s just staring there with his eyes open.” He added “I’m really worried” and “He was fine when we were pulling over. He said ‘I just need to pull over for one second.'” Evan painted a complete picture for the operator, explaining that “he was listening to the music then he just laid down on his seat and I thought he was joking — then I saw something fell out of his mouth and it was his fake teeth.”

RCMP has disclosed that the boy’s grandfather is receiving medical treatment at a hospital, while the boy and his family have scheduled to address the media on Wednesday afternoon.
