Réjean Maltais, 59 of Campbellton charged with marijuana production

District 9 RCMP executed a search warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act at a residence on Boucher St. in Campbellton on Wednesday, May 19, 2010. Police seized marijuana plants and dried marijuana. Réjean Maltais, a 59-year-old man from the Campbellton area, was arrested at the scene. He appeared in Provincial Court today and pleaded guilty to one charge of marijuana production and one charge of possession of over 30 grams of marijuana. He will be sentenced on June 21, 2010 in Provincial Court in Campbellton.
