White male sought in a sexual assault on a Toronto woman

The Toronto Police Service Sex Crimes Unit is alerting the public to a sexual assault investigation.

It is reported that:

– on Saturday, May 22, 2010, at approximately 11 p.m., a woman and her friends attended a bar in the area of Bloor Street West/Spadina Road.

– the woman then met up with additional friends at a second bar,

– at some time during the early morning hours of Sunday, May 23, 2010, the woman was in the area of Yonge Street, north of Major Mackenzie Drive, where she was sexually assaulted in a laneway.

The suspect is described as white, 29-31, muscular arms, light brown hair, wearing a black t-shirt, a ring on his left pinky finger and a watch, with a black strap on his left arm.
