The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and MRS. Dunster’s Inc. are warning people with allergies to milk proteins not to consume MRS. Dunster’s Old Fashioned Ginger Snaps described below. The affected product contains milk which is not declared on the label.

The affected product, MRS. Dunster’s Old Fashioned Ginger Snaps, is sold in 350 g packages bearing UPC 0 59548 00055 3. All Best Before date codes up to and including 10 JL 08 are affected.

This product has been distributed in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island.

There have been no reported allergic reactions associated with the consumption of this product.

Consumption of this product may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in persons with allergies to milk proteins.

The manufacturer, MRS. Dunster’s Inc., located in Sussex, NB is voluntarily recalling the affected product from the marketplace. The CFIA is monitoring the effectiveness of the recall.
