On Sunday, May 30, 2010, the Aga Khan Foundation Canada will hold their annual World Partnership Walk. Registration and announcements will take place at Metro Hall prior to the event. At 11 a.m., participants will then proceed to King Street West/Wellington Street West. The estimated completion time is 1:30 p.m.

Road closures:

– Wellington Street West, John Street to York Street, 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.,
– Northbound on University Avenue, Front Street to College Street, 11 a.m.- 12:30 p.m.,
– Southbound on University Avenue, Front Street to College Street, 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Walkathon Route:

Formation Area: Metro Hall,
– Eastbound King Street West, eastbound curb lane only, and
– Eastbound Wellington Street West,
– Southbound Simcoe Street, two westerly lanes only,
– Eastbound Wellington Street West, full roadway,
– Northbound University Avenue, northbound lanes,
– Northbound Queen’s Park, northbound lanes,
– turn around, Queen’s Park, at south end of Queen’s Park Crescent,
– Southbound Queen’s Park, southbound lanes,
– Southbound University Avenues, southbound lanes,
– Westbound Wellington Street West, full roadway,
– Northbound Simcoe Street, west sidewalk,
– Westbound King Street West, south sidewalk)
– Dispersal Area: Metro Hall

There will be no significant service disruptions to TTC service during this event. The event will proceed regardless of weather conditions.
