It is alleged that:
– between April 2010 and May 2010, a student was sexually assaulted by the accused in two separate incidents,
– the assaults took place while the victim was in school and under the supervision of his teacher.
Chi Cuong Hang, 38, of Toronto, has been charged with:
1) two counts of Sexual Assault,
2) two counts of Sexual Interference.
He was scheduled to appear in court at 1000 Finch Avenue, on Wednesday, June 3, 2010, room 306, at 10 a.m.
The accused has been a teacher for the last seven years at Don Mills Middle School.
Police believe there may be more victims.
Mr.Hang is an amazing teacher! He helped host photography club which I took place in and he was always so nice, kind, and a leader when he needed to be! I’m almost 100% sure that this is FAKE. I know the students who got so called “molested” and I have a feeling the students made this as a joke. Mr.Hang would NEVER do anything sexual towards ANY student at DMMS and I know that for a FACT.
This is seriously just some prank… I had Mr.Hang 4 years ago and there is NO WAY that he could’ve done something like this. He was a really strict teacher, but at the same time he was also a very composed and responsible educator that was well respected throughout the school. Whoever is pressing charges against him are just a bunch of liars that have nothing to do and likes to ruin other people’s reputations due to their own stupcomment_IDity of not cooperating in class.
