The Toronto Police Service is alerting the public to a suspicious incident investigation.

It is reported that:

– on Wednesday, June 2, 2010, at 1 p.m., a 13-year-old girl was walking to school in the Lakeshore Boulevard West/31st Street area,

– a man approached the girl, while driving his car, and started a conversation,

– the girl walked away, the man followed her, and told her to get into his car,

– the girl ran to her school and reported the incident.

The man is described as East Indian, 30-40, with black, short hair. He was last seen wearing reflective sunglasses and a white golf shirt.

The vehicle is described as an older, silver, four-door Honda Civic.
