On Thursday June 3, 2010, police arrested a 61-year-old man in connection with a criminal harassment investigation.
It is alleged that:
– the accused was riding his bicycle in the Lake Shore Blvd West/33rd Street area and approached a 11-year-old girl,
– the accused stopped next to the girl,
– he attempted to grab hold of the girl,
– the girl ran away and reported the incident,
– the accused fled the area.
Ross Townsend, 61, of Toronto, has been charged with:
1) Criminal Harassment.
He was scheduled to appear in court at 2201 Finch Avenue West on Friday, June 4, 2010, room 202 F, 10 a.m.
Police believe there may be other victims.
