Young girls target of suspicious male in the area of Marvin Heights Public School and Morning Star Middle School in Peel Region

Officers from the 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau are investigating several complaints of a suspicious male in the area of Marvin Heights Public School and Morning Star Middle School.

On Wednesday May 19, 2010, at approximately 3:40 p.m., a ten (10) year old girl was walking home from school in the area of Morning Star Drive and Catalpa Road. She was approached by a suspicious male in a blue four-door sedan, who asked her name and age. The girl fled the area and the male subsequently drove off. The male is described as black, and in his 30’s. On Thursday June 3, 2010, at approximately 8:30 a.m., she was again approached by the same suspicious male, in the same area. The girl ran away from the area and the male drove away.

On Thursday May 20, 2010, at about 8:30 a.m., a thirteen (13) year old girl was approached by suspicious male in a vehicle, who asked her name, age, phone number and destination. The male is described as black, 30-40 years of age and was seen driving a grey vehicle.

On Thursday May 20, 2010, at 8:45 a.m., an eleven (11) year old girl was stopped by a suspicious black male, believed to be in his 30’s, who asked her name and age. As other students approached, the male drove away. The male was seen driving a blue four-door sedan.

Investigators believe that the suspicious male in all four incidents, is the same individual, and are seeking the public’s assistance to identify him.
