The provincial government is investing a total of $85,000 in infrastructure improvements in Saint-Léonard. Premier Shawn Graham made the announcement today.
"The Province of New Brunswick is proud to be a partner in these community infrastructure projects for Saint-Léonard and region," said Graham. "These projects will enable area residents to continue to be active and thrive as we work together to achieve a healthier and more self-sufficient New Brunswick."
Joining Graham for the announcement was Saint-Léonard Mayor Carmel St-Amand.
Funding of $60,000 from the Regional Development Corporation will be used for infrastructure improvements at Club Skirakdoo, a local multi-functional centre. This project consists of exterior and interior renovations to the chalet as well as for the construction of a storage garage.
