Five people charged with drug trafficking in Dartmouth

Five people face charges after a drug search yesterday afternoon in Dartmouth.

At 3:40 p.m. officers assigned to the HRP/RCMP Integrated Drug Unit observed a drug transaction in the 0-100 block of Highfield Park Drive. A search warrant was then executed on a residence at that location. A quantity of cocaine, dilaudid, hashish, cash and drug paraphernalia was seized. As a result of the investigation, three men and two women, who were all arrested without incident, face charges.

Patrick John Bevin, 35, of Dartmouth, is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession and breach of conditions.
Robert Nicholas Cox, 25, of Halifax, is charged with drug trafficking and breach of conditions.
Natalie Catherine Digioacchino, 28, of Harrietsfield, is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and breach of conditions.
Jareen Tyrell Gallant, 21, of Dartmouth is charged with breach of conditions. They were scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court today.
Thirty-eight-year-old Suzanne Silver of Cow Bay faces charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession, and is scheduled to appear in court on July 28.
