On Friday February 15, 2013, the Toronto Police Service Fugitive Squad arrested a man wanted by Romanian authorities.

Givan Iusein, 43, was located at his home in the Don Mills Road/Van Horne Avenue area.

He was arrested on the strength of an Extradition Warrant.

Givan Iusein was convicted of a 1992 stabbing homicide in Romania and sentenced to 18 years in prison.

It is alleged that he fled Romania before completing his sentence.

He is currently being held pending his extradition to Romania.
