15 year old girl becomes Peel Region’s second homicide

On Saturday, June 12, 2010, at approximately 9:00 a.m., officers responded to an address on Savita Road, for a report of a female with no vital signs.

Shortly after arriving, officers discovered the victim, inside the residence, deceased.

Tiffany GAYLE, a 15 year-old resident of Brampton, was found with signs of trauma to her body. As a result of the investigation to date, the incident has now been deemed a homicide.

A post mortem is scheduled for Monday, June 14, 2010.

The investigation is being conducted by members of the Homicide Bureau. Investigators are still in the process of interviewing persons related to the incident and, as such, no further information will be released at this time.
