Three Women Victimized by Gunshots at a Strip Club in Brampton

Police has confirmed that a shooting triggered inside a Brampton strip club resulted in a three women being victimized on Wednesday morning, while it alleged that officers are still trying to figure out whether they were targeted or caught in the crossfire of a gun battle.

The women suffered gunshots inside The Office Gentleman Club a little before 1:30 a.m. It was revealed that two of the victims were critically injured, although police assures that their condition is now stabilized. Whereas, the third victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and hence is expected to soon make a full recovery. Investigators confirmed that the club was hosting “Twerk it Tuesdays,” which was its popular weekly event featuring discounted drinks, while the event’s promoter informed on Wednesday that the event had always been sold out every week since it first began in December. Investigators have already cordoned off the crime scene and began the search to look for any clues leading them to a suspect.

Investigators are hopeful of being able to speak with witnesses as they acquire security footage from surveillance cameras nearby. Const. George Tudos pointed out that “there’s a possibility that people left the scene,” and “we’re trying to determine who was at the establishment at the time. We’re hoping that if someone left, they will come forward and give information police need to determine who the shooter is and what transpired.” Tudos also shared that the police has recovered shell casings, from the crime scene, of a firearm that is believed to be a handgun.
