Three men arrested for robbing Hamilton pharmacy

On May 3rd, 2010, two male suspects entered a pharmacy in Hamilton’s east end. Both had their faces masked to conceal their identity and had armed themselves with a handgun. The suspects vaulted the counter and announced it was a robbery, subsequently escaping with a large quantity of prescription drugs.

As a result of an ongoing, out of town, investigation the two suspects were identified and one suspect was arrested at that time:

Aydin AKDEMIR, 25 years, of Hamilton
Charges: Robbery with a firearm, Disguised with Intent.

On Wednesday June 9th, 2010, the investigation and pursuit of the second suspect led Hamilton Police Service’s B.E.A.R. Unit (Break, Enter, Auto and Robbery Unit) to an address in Gatineau, Quebec. Members of the Gatineau Police Robbery Unit were contacted and assisted in making the arrest of the second suspect. Hamilton Police attended Gatineau, Quebec and returned the male to Hamilton to face his charges.

Charged:
Jordan Scott ANGER, 25 years, of Hamilton
Charges: Robbery with a firearm, Disguised with Intent, Possession Over $5000 & several drug related offences.
