On June 17, 45 yr old Bonnie TATTI succumbed to her injuries. This matter is now being treated as a homicide investigation.

This is the City’s 4th homicide this year.

Background

The Hamilton Police Service Division Two Detectives are seeking the assistance of the public in identifying the driver of a suspect vehicle involved in the investigation surrounding the suspicious injuries of a Hamilton woman.

On Monday, May 24th, 2010 at approximately 11;00 a.m., Hamilton Police responded to the area of Rosslyn Ave. and Dalkeith Ave. when a 45 yr old woman was found suffering serious, life-threatening injuries. She was taken to hospital and remains in critical condition.

The Division Two Detective office is investigating the specifics of how the woman sustained her injuries. Person of Interest have been developed as a result of the investigation. Investigators are releasing the description of a suspect vehicle believed to be involved and are asking anyone with information about the vehicle and driver to call the Division Two Detectives.

The vehicle is described as a GMC Jimmy S.U.V., flat black, possibly with a burnt out or smashed our taillight. The vehicle was last seen westbound on Barton St. from Rosslyn Ave. Police believe the male driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
