The Ottawa Police Service High Tech Crime Internet Child Exploitation Unit (HTC-ICE) has charged a young offender with child pornography related offences.
On Tuesday June 15, 2010, a search warrant was executed at a residence in the city’s East end
.
Numerous computers and external digital media were seized from the residence and images, videos and text documents of child pornography were located.
As a result of the investigation, a 16-year-old male of Ottawa has been arrested. He is charged with 2 counts of Possession and 1 count of Make Available Child Pornography.
He remains in police custody and is scheduled to appear in court on June 21, 2010.
