On Monday, June 21, 2010, at 9:17 p.m., police received a call for shooting in the area of Eglinton Avenue East/Markham Road.

It is reported that:

– three men approached a 26-year-old man and demanded his jewelry,

– when the victim resisted, one man pulled out a handgun and shot him in the leg,

– all three suspects fled the scene.

The victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
