49 yr old man dies after losing control of his vehicle in Winnipeg

On June 22, 2010 at approximately 9:35 a.m., Uniform members were dispatched to the area of Waverley Street and Bison Drive regarding a serious motor vehicle collision.

At this stage of the investigation, the driver of a vehicle travelling northbound on Waverley Street just prior to Bison Drive, lost control and became involved in a serious single motor vehicle collision.

A 49 year old male was transported to hospital in critical condition where he later succumbed to injuries sustained.

The cause of the collision is still being investigated by members of the Central Traffic Unit.

All roads previously closed as a result of the incident are now open to traffic.
