Peel Police arrest a 35 yr old man for Human Trafficking

USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Investigators from the Peel Regional Police Major Drugs and Vice Unit have arrested and charged a Brampton man with Human Trafficking-related offences.

The underage female victim met the suspect in early June 2010, and was then lured into the adult entertainment and the sex trade industries. It is alleged that the suspect profited from the victim’s acts, and that he exercised control over all aspects of the victim’s life.

Courtney Hue SALMON, a.k.a. “Orian”, age 35, of Brampton, was arrested on Monday, June 21, 2010. He made a court appearance on Tuesday, June 22, 2010, where he was charged with the following offences:

· Human Trafficking;

· Procuring a Person to Become a Prostitute;

· Receiving Benefit from Human Trafficking;

· Exercising Control of a Prostitute;

· Living off the Avails of Prostitution;

· Uttering Threats;

· Assault; and,

· Breach of Probation.

Investigators have concerns that Courtney Hue SALMON has recruited, or has attempted to recruit, other young women for similar purposes. Anyone who has been approached by this suspect is urged to contact investigators.
