On Tuesday, June 29, 2010, at 2:34 a.m., police responded to a call for a person with a knife at an apartment building on Dixon Road.
Officers attended and located a woman suffering from obvious signs of trauma. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Shortly after, police received a call for a pedestrian struck on the 401, near Martin Grove. The man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The identity of the victim is not being released at this time.
A post-mortem examination is to be scheduled.
