Winnipeg police warn parents about a suspicious man

Between Saturday, June 26th, 2010 at 9:30 p.m. and Monday, June 28th, 2010, at 1:00 p.m., a suspicious male was seen operating a mini van in the area of Manitoba Avenue and Charles Street.

Two young females, aged 9 and 16 years, believe that they were followed by this suspicious male as they were walking in the area.

At no time did the male speak with either of the girls, and he was never seen exiting the vehicle.

The male is described as follows:

– Caucasian, 20 to 40 years of age, with balding whitish/ gold hair and a goatee;
– The male was wearing a dark baseball cap and a white t-shirt.

The vehicle is described as follows:

– Dark blue or navy blue mini-van, with beige trim running along the bottom of it;
– All of the windows, except the front two windows had dark tint;
– The van did not have any observable damage or markings.
