Quoc Ngo, Quoc Luong and My Yen Tran of Toronto charged with operating a marijuana grow–op

On Tuesday, June 29, 2010, police executed a series of search warrants at three east Toronto homes.

It is alleged that:

– police seized over 1,000 marijuana plants, grow equipment and cultivated marijuana, valued at one-million dollars,

Quoc Ngo, 28, Quoc Luong, 48, and My Yen Tran, 38, all of Toronto, have each been charged with:

– three counts of Produce Marijuana,
– four counts of Possession of Marijuana for the Purpose of Trafficking,
– three counts of Theft of Electricity,
– Possession of Proceeds.

They were scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall, on Wednesday, June 30, 2010, room 103, at 10 a.m.
