Officers from the Homicide Bureau are probing the circumstances which lead to the shooting of a 17 year-old Mississauga male.

On Saturday, July 3, 2010, at 8:36 p.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting at the Malton Community Centre, located on Morning Star Drive. Shortly after arriving, officers discovered 17 year-old Adrian DUCAS, suffering from life-threatening injuries. The victim was pronounced at the scene.

The victim had been involved in a basketball game inside the community centre, when three suspects entered the centre. For reasons that are still under investigation, an altercation took place and the victim was shot. The suspects then walked away in an unknown direction.

At this time, the suspects can only be described as black males.
