The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance with the investigation into the murder of Kyle Clarke, 20, of Toronto.

It is reported that:

– on the evening of Thursday, July 1, 2010, Kyle Clarke attended the fireworks display at Downsview Park with some friends,

– after the fireworks, he went to a strip mall across from the park, in the area of 3314 Keele Street,

– shortly after midnight on Friday, July 2, 2010, he was shot several times.

– he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

The cause of death has been determined as gunshot wounds to the chest and back.

Approximately 200 people were in the parking area of the strip mall when the shooting occurred. A black man in dark clothing was seen running north from the area, near Keele Street/Sheppard Avenue West.
