On Friday, July 2nd, Jamie Lee Gallant, a 22-year-old man from Moncton was arrested by the Codiac Regional RCMP Street Crime Unit for being in possession of a stolen camera, estimated to be worth approximately $22,000.
The camera had been reported stolen on May 30, 2010 from the Red Ball Centre in Moncton
Gallant’s bail hearing was scheduled for Monday afternoon however it was postponed and rescheduled for July 12,2010 at 1:30pm. Two other people were also arrested on Friday in relation to this stolen property. They were later released and will be appearing in court at a later date to face related charges.
