The Edmonton Medical Examiner confirmed the suspicious death of a male that occurred last night to be a homicide.

Just before 10 p.m. on Thursday, May 30, 2013, the Edmonton Police Service responded to a report of an injured unconscious male. Police found the male in a park in the area of 99 Avenue and 111 Street. EMS also responded and pronounced the male deceased on scene.

The male has been identified as Curtis Raymond Dugray, 51 of Edmonton. The cause of death will not be released at this time.

Homicide detectives are investigating this incident and are canvasing the area for more information.
