The investigation team on the sexual exploitation of children on the Internet SQ proceeded today to a second arrest for child pornography.

Marc-André Bolduc, 53, of Laval, appeared this afternoon at the Laval courthouse. He must answer to charges of distributing child pornography.

The investigation by the Sûreté du Québec, in collaboration with the FBI and the Saskatoon Police Service has determined that the suspect made available to other Internet users with thousands of files of child pornography on a network instant messaging and file exchange.

Members of the team investigating the sexual exploitation of children on the Internet have made a search of his home and seized computer equipment that will be analyzed and may lead to other charges.
