The Vancouver Police Department arrested robbery suspect Cage Burnstick earlier this morning during a traffic stop.
Cage Burnstick, 27, was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for being unlawfully at large and as a suspect in a recent series of bank robberies in Edmonton.
Edmonton Police Service Robbery Detectives are continuing with their investigation and additional charges related to the Edmonton robberies are pending.
Background: The EPS sought the public’s assistance on July 16, 20, 2010, to locate Cage Burnstick after he was considered a person of interest in a series of Edmonton-area robberies.
