Moncton man Eugene Marshall pleads guilty to two counts on Internet child exploitation

A 60-year-old Moncton man has pleaded guilty to two charges resulting from an investigation by the New Brunswick RCMP’s Internet Child Exploitation Unit and the RCMP/ Halifax Regional Police (HRP) Internet Child Exploitation Unit.

Eugene Marshall appeared in Moncton Provincial Court and pleaded guilty to breaching probation by accessing the Internet for something other than work-related purposes, as well as breaching a prohibition order by communicating online with someone under the age of 16. He will be remanded until sentencing on September 5, 2013. 

Marshall pleaded not guilty to luring a child under the age of 16 over the Internet. His trial has been set to October 29, 2013.
