On Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at 4:46 a.m., police responded to a call for a stabbing in the McCowan Road/Lawrence Avenue East area.

Police located a man in his late 30s suffering trauma to the body.

The victim was last seen getting out of a navy-blue, 1999 Ford Explorer and falling to the ground. He was taken to hospital and later died.

On Sunday, July 25, 2010, at 3:30 a.m., Sharmake Abdi, 26, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with First Degree Murder.

On Tuesday, July 27, 2010, at 6:51 p.m., Anthony Wong, 29, of Brampton, was arrested and charged with First Degree Murder. He was scheduled to appear in court at 1911 Eglinton Avenue East, on Wednesday, July 28, 2010, room 412, 10 a.m.

It is alleged that:

-Anthony Wong was aided and assisted by a woman.

Nicole Linda Gagner, 29, of Toronto, is charged with Accessory After the Fact to Murder. She was scheduled to appear in court at College Park on Wednesday, July 28, 2010, at 10 a.m., room 507.
