Kristopher Jeffery John Clyne and Wesley George Pelletier arrested for robbery in Winnipeg

On July 31st, 2010 at approximately 10:10 p.m., patrolling Winnipeg Police Service Uniform Members observed two suspicious males in the area of Balmoral Street and Cumberland Avenue with one of the male’s seen carrying a firearm.

Both males were subsequently arrested without incident. Further investigation revealed that the two male suspects had just robbed a 35 year old male of beer that he had just purchased from a nearby vendor.

The victim received minor injuries to his upper body and did not require medical treatment.

Kristopher Jeffery John CLYNE, 18 years of Winnipeg has been charged with the following offences:

Robbery with a Firearm
Possession of Prohibited or Restricted Firearm/Ammunition
Point Firearm
Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
Unauthorized Possession of Weapon
Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
Carry a concealed weapon

Wesley George PELLETIER, 21 years of Winnipeg, has been charged with the following offences:

Robbery with a Firearm
Possession of Prohibited or Restricted Firearm/Ammunition
Point Firearm
Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
Unauthorized Possession of Weapon
Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
Fail to Comply Conditions Undertaking (Officer in Charge)

Both males have been detained in custody at the Winnipeg Remand Centre.
