Rory Graham of Hamilton charged with criminal harassment

The Hamilton Police Service has arrested and charged a Hamilton man with Criminal Harassment after investigating a hate/bias crime that has been ongoing for two years.

On Wednesday, August 11th, at approximately 10:30 a.m., Hamilton Police were called to a home in Hamilton’s east end to investigate a report of harassment. The victims alleged that over the course of a couple of years they had been subjected to racial slurs and intimidating behaviour from the suspect. The accumulative incidents caused a fear for the safety of the victims, a 46 year-old man and 32 year-old woman, their children and their property.

Later on the same day, at approximately 9:00 p.m., the suspect was arrested at his home. He is scheduled for a bail hearing today.
