Four people arrested for drug offences in Sudbury

Upon receiving information, members of the Joint Forces Drug Unit (Greater Sudbury Police Service, the Ontario Provincial Police and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police) obtained a search warrant on August 10th 2010, for an address on Beverly Drive in Sudbury. As a result of the search, police arrested 3 adults and 1 Young person.

Police did seize drugs valued at $41,000.00 (cocaine), $5,300.00 in Canadian currency and drug paraphernalia (i.e. cell phones, scale and packaging material).

Charged are:

Denis Farmer (44 yrs, CGS), Cory Suomi (24 yrs, Hamilton), Jason Quinton (36 yrs, Brampton) and a female young person (CGS) have been charged with the following offences:

Possession for the purpose Schedule II – under 3 kg

Possession for the purpose Schedule 1 – cocaine

Possession Property Obtained by Crime – over $5,000

Quinton is also charged with 4 counts of Fail to Comply with Undertaking or Recognizance.
