The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance locating a man wanted in a robbery investigation.

On Tuesday, August 3, 2010, it is alleged that:

– a 52-year-old woman was walking her dog in the Bathurst Street/ Cedarcroft Boulevard area when she was approached by a man,

– the man asked for directions and followed her into a secured entrance of an apartment building on Cedarcroft Boulevard,

– the man ran after her with a knife and demanded her iPhone,

– the woman was chased through the hallway and thrown to the ground,

– the suspect took the woman’s iPhone from her pocket and ran off.

The suspect is described as having a tanned complexion, 20-30, with black hair and a goatee. He was wearing a black T-shirt with a Superman logo on the front, blue jeans and white shoes.
