Vancouver Police are announcing the arrest of 30 year old Richard Drew Lawson, one of the remaining fugitives from the CON AIR TOP 10 MOST WANTED list. He is wanted by Toronto police on 11 outstanding warrants for offences including assault with a weapon, threatening death, assault causing bodily harm and failing to comply with a court order.

Lawson was arrested around 6:00 p.m. on August 11th, after patrol members pulled him over in a routine traffic stop in the 2000 block of Kingsway Avenue. He will be flown home to Ontario today with a VPD escort.

Richard Lawson is the 68th person to be returned to another province to face justice since the CON AIR program began in 2008

Vancouver Police still need the public`s assistance to help locate 37 year old Michael Craveiro who has evaded arrest since fleeing his home province of Ontario with 28 outstanding warrants. His warrants relate to 13 counts of uttering threats, 10 counts of criminal harassment and 5 counts of breach of probation.
