The witness who found the body of Catholique and ran into the Brick Furniture Store to call EMS, has come forward and was interviewed by EPS Homicide Detectives.
Another male witness who came forward said that he ran up to an SUV driving westbound on 107 A Avenue and asked the female driver to call 9-1-1. The woman drove near the scene, however, did not make the call. Homicide Detectives are asking for the public’s help in locating the woman driving the SUV, as she may be able to provide valuable information for the investigation.
Detectives also believe that there may be additional witnesses and are asking them to contact the Edmonton Police Service at 780-423-4567.
