Forty-four Peel Regional Police recruits ready to join the service

On Wednesday, September 1, 2010, at 2:00 p.m., forty-four (44) Peel Regional Police recruits will be sworn in as Constables by the Honourable Justice Thomas Dunn. The ceremony will be held at the Emil V. Kolb Centre, located at 180 Derry Road East, Mississauga.

The new officers have successfully completed a total of 20 weeks of training at the Ontario Police College and the Peel Regional Police Training Bureau. Chair Emil Kolb, of the Police Services Board, and Justice Dunn will be in attendance. Deputy Chief Paul Tetzlaff will present the officers with their badges.

Following the graduation, the officers will be assigned to training officers at operational divisions, where they will enter the final phase of their training.
