A 30-year-old Riverview woman now faces a third charge in connection with thediscovery of the body of a newborn baby boy found on Taylor Road near Monteagle, N.B. in 2009.

On April 4, 2009, the body of a newborn baby boy was discovered in a snow bank onTaylor Road. Southeast RCMP and the RCMP’s Major Crime Unit have been involved in the investigation. The baby is legally known as Baby Boy Doe but became known publicly as Baby Taylor in the weeks following the discovery of his body based on the name of the road where he was found.

In 2013, Christine Margaret Wood, the mother of the baby, was charged with indignity to a dead human body or human remains and concealing the body of a child. 

On January 15, 2014, a charge of attempted murder was laid in Moncton Provincial Court against Wood. The evidence and reasons behind the charge will come out during the court process.

Wood is scheduled to appear in court again on February 11, 2014, at 9:30 a.m.
