On Saturday September 11th 2010 at 8:45 a.m., two female suspects, with their faces concealed and armed with knives, allegedly attended to a convenience store located in the 800 block of Ellice Avenue. A customer including the store clerk was threatened with the knives. One of the suspects subsequently demanded cash and cigarettes resulting in the clerk sustaining a minor injury to her upper body.

An undisclosed amount cash and cigarettes were stolen prior to the suspects fleeing the business.

Due to the efforts of Division 11 General patrol members both suspects were apprehended and the cash and cigarettes were recovered.

Margarita MOUESSEAU, 19 years and Karly Grace SPENCE, 18 years have been charged with the following offences: Robbery with Weapon, Wear disguise with intent and Assault with a Weapon.

They were detained in custody.
