18 year old man suffering from serious assault in Wiggins Park, Brampton

Investigators from the 21 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance after a serious assault occurred in Wiggins Park.

On Tuesday, September 14, 2010, at approximately 10:30 p.m., the victim, an 18 year-old Brampton man, sustained life threatening injuries after being assaulted in the area of Wiggins Park. Wiggins Park is located at the intersection of Egypt Drive and Saintsbury Crescent.

The victim was originally transported to a local Brampton hospital and later taken to a Toronto trauma centre. The victim’s status has been downgraded from life-threatening to critical.

Peel Regional Police are appealing to anyone who made have heard or seen anything in the identified area, between the hours of 9:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.
