Remains of Emmanuel Amoah found in Edmonton

Homicide detectives continue to investigate the found human remains located Monday evening at Ellerslie Road and 17 Street SW. The autopsy was concluded this morning and the victim has been identified as 19-year-old Emmanuel Amoah of Edmonton. Results of the autopsy are not being released at this time.

Amoah was a student at Centre High (103 Street and 102 Avenue) and was last seen after leaving school on the afternoon of Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010. Anyone who may have seen or spoken to Amoah after that time is encouraged to contact police.

The death and the circumstances around it continue to be investigated.
