The Hamilton Police Service has arrested a Hamilton man and charged him with numerous sexual assault related offences.

The Hamilton Police Service Victims of Crime Branch – Sexual Assault Unit investigated and charged a Hamilton man with numerous sexual offences. That man was arrested and charged on July 23rd, 2010. During the course of that investigation further allegations of sexual offence based incidents involving another Hamilton man were disclosed.

The Sexual Assault Unit continued to investigate those allegations and on Tuesday, September 14th, 2010, investigators arrested Thomas GARRITY. It is alleged that Thomas GARRITY preyed on young children. He was released on a Promise to Appear and is expected in court on a first appearance on October 4th, 2010.

Charged: Thomas GARRITY, 58 yrs. of Hamilton

Sexual Interference x 2
Sexual Exploitation x 2
Assault Level I
