Winnipeg couple charged with child abuse

At approximately 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 8th, 2010 members of the Winnipeg Police Service attended to a residence in the City’s south end regarding an injured child.

It was learned that a six year old male child had attended to a neighbouring residence requesting to spend the night. As a result of obvious injuries, Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Services were called and the child was transported to hospital.
