Valerie Kim and Korrey Courts arrested for thefts in Ajax

Police are appealing to homeowners in Ajax to contact investigators in order to reclaim their recovered stolen property.

Following a lengthy investigation, members of the DRPS Street Level Robbery Unit arrested Valerie KIM, age 24 and Korrey COURTS, age 23 of Ajax on September 9, 2010 and charged both accused for numerous counts of breaking and entering into homes in the south Ajax area. These residential break and enters occurred after July 11, 2010. Two search warrants were executed and numerous stolen items were recovered by police.

If you were the victim of a break and enter after July 11, 2010 and still have outstanding property that has not been recovered, please contact investigators to make arrangements for a viewing. The unclaimed and recovered stolen property includes: stamp collections, DVDs, a digital camera, a DVD player, Nintendo DS, Play Station game controller, guitar, suitcase (large), costume jewellery, coin collection and a purse. All claimants must be prepared to show personal id.
